NICE Enlighten was NICE's name for the AI in its CXone contact center suite. NICE's product pages no longer use the name: they describe NiCE AI Models inside NICE CXone, and the old Enlighten AI address redirects to NICE's AI for CX page. The alternatives split two ways. Keep CXone and add an AI layer that analyzes and scores every conversation: Ender Turing, Observe.AI, CallMiner, Verint, Level AI or Cresta. Or replace CXone with another contact center suite: Genesys Cloud CX, Five9 or Talkdesk. NICE publishes its prices: Quality Management comes with the Essential Suite at $135 per agent a month, and Interaction Analytics with the Complete Suite at $209.
The short answer
- Keep CXone and score every conversation with AI, at a price you can see: Ender Turing. AutoQA scores 100% of conversations on your own scorecard, typically in 95%+ agreement with your own reviewers, with the accuracy shown for every point; it works in any language your customers speak; the free plan has no expiry, and Team is $39 per agent a month. Its browser extension records the CXone agent workspace, and nothing is written back.
- Keep CXone and add an enterprise AI platform with live agent assist: Observe.AI, Cresta or Level AI, priced by quote.
- Keep CXone and run speech analytics at large scale: CallMiner. Quality and workforce management from one enterprise vendor: Verint, which includes Calabrio.
- Replace CXone: Genesys Cloud CX, with quality management from $115 per user a month; Talkdesk, with quality management in every plan and voice from $105 per user a month; or Five9, with quality management in its quote-only Pro and Enterprise plans.

What happened to NICE Enlighten
NICE built Enlighten as AI "purpose-built" for customer experience inside CXone. In June 2024 it brought Enlighten's AI together with Copilot, Autopilot and Actions in one CXone offering (NICE's release). On October 8, 2026, its product pages call the AI NiCE AI Models, and an older NICE microsite keeps the Enlighten name (NICE).
What the AI does inside CXone, by NICE's own pages:
- Quality Management scores interactions with LLMs, with "Auto Score" for 100% evaluation coverage across calls, chat, email, social and CRM tickets (NICE Quality Management).
- Interaction Analytics analyzes every conversation and comes in two tiers, Essentials and Advanced (NICE Interaction Analytics).
- Copilot for Agents gives agents real-time guidance inside CXone (NICE CXone).
Pricing per agent a month, billed monthly in arrears (NICE pricing): the Omnichannel Suite is $110; the Essential Suite, $135, includes Quality Management; the Core Suite, $169, adds workforce management and performance management; the Complete Suite, $209, includes Interaction Analytics; the Ultimate Suite, $249 plus $0.25 per session, includes the Copilots and Automated Summary, which are add-ons in every other suite.
So in CXone, the AI that analyzes and scores conversations comes with the upper suites and is priced for every agent. The alternatives below either add that AI on top of CXone, which keeps routing and scheduling, or replace CXone altogether. CXone's own pricing table includes "Bring your own transcription" in every suite.
How we compared them
We checked each vendor's own product, pricing and integration pages on October 8, 2026, and compared five things: whether it is a suite you move to or a layer on top of CXone, what it costs and how it is charged, whether it states that it works with NICE CXone, how much of the conversation volume its automated QA scores, and whether it offers live agent assist. MaestroQA is not on the list: it was renamed Rippit in September 2026 and connects to Intercom and Zendesk (Rippit).
The 9 NICE Enlighten alternatives
1. Ender Turing

Best for: contact centers on NICE CXone that want every conversation analyzed and scored on their own scorecard, with prices they can see before a sales call.
Pricing: free plan for up to 5 agents (100 calls per agent a month, calls up to 10 minutes, no expiry); Team $39 and Business $79 per agent per month; Enterprise is custom. See pricing.
G2 rating: 4.8/5.
With NICE CXone: the Ender Turing browser extension records calls in the CXone agent workspace, legacy inContact workspaces and the government cloud included, in stereo, and every call lands in Ender Turing transcribed and scored. Nothing is installed inside CXone and nothing is written back; recordings kept in CXone can be handed over through the API, SFTP or upload (NICE CXone integration).
What the AI does on your calls:
- Scores 100% of conversations on your own scorecard with AutoQA, typically in 95%+ agreement with your own reviewers, with the accuracy shown for every point and improved from their reviews (quality management; how accuracy is measured).
- Analyzes every call, chat and email in seconds, in any language your customers speak, with speech recognition built in-house by its R&D team (speech analytics).
- Checks the required lines, such as disclosures, consent and identification, with a script-adherence score on every call (compliance rules).
- Answers questions about your conversations in plain language, with the calls cited (Chat with EnderGPT).
- Coaches each agent with a weekly EnderGPT coaching note written from that agent's own conversations (agent management).
What changes for customers: averages across 50+ contact-center deployments are 100% of calls automatically scored (against a 3–5% manual baseline), +19% customer satisfaction, −15% average handle time and 68 QA hours saved per specialist per month (case studies).
