Calabrio Competitors & Alternatives: 8 Tools (2026)

Calabrio is now part of Verint. Thoma Bravo, which owned Calabrio, completed its acquisition of Verint on November 26, 2025 and combined the two companies (Verint), and since February 2026 they operate under one name, Verint (Verint). The Calabrio products keep their names: Calabrio ONE brings together Calabrio Workforce Management, Calabrio Conversation Intelligence and Calabrio QM Intelligence, with call recording. Its competitors split two ways. Keep your scheduling and put an AI layer on every customer conversation for quality and analytics: Ender Turing, Observe.AI, Level AI or CallMiner. Or replace Calabrio ONE with another workforce engagement suite: NICE CXone or Genesys Cloud CX, which include the contact center itself, or Aspect or Assembled for workforce management.

Choose Ender Turing when you want AI for every customer conversation on the phone system you already run: every call, chat and email analyzed and scored on your own scorecard in seconds, in any language, with its accuracy against your reviewers shown for every point, from your first calls. Stay with Calabrio when forecasting and scheduling are the main job and you want them with quality management, analytics and recording from one vendor, now Verint.

The short answer

  • Keep your scheduling and put AI on every customer conversation: Ender Turing. AutoQA scores 100% of conversations on your own scorecard, typically in 95%+ agreement with your own reviewers, with the accuracy shown for every point and improved from their reviews. It works in any language your customers speak and connects to Genesys Cloud, Five9, NICE CXone, Talkdesk, Amazon Connect, RingCentral, Dialpad and Aircall.
  • AI agents, live assist and QA from one enterprise platform: Observe.AI or Level AI.
  • Speech analytics at large scale: CallMiner. Level AI and CallMiner each list Calabrio among their integrations.
  • Replace the suite and the contact center with it: NICE CXone or Genesys Cloud CX, each with workforce management and quality management in its upper plans.
  • Workforce management on its own: Aspect for large, multi-site and regulated operations; Assembled for support teams that run AI agents next to people.

What happened to Calabrio

Calabrio still exists as a product line inside Verint. Verint's own page answers the questions buyers ask about it (Verint + Calabrio):

  • Is Calabrio now Verint? Yes. Calabrio merged with Verint, and the combined company operates under the Verint brand, with Calabrio products continuing as part of Verint CX Automation Platform.
  • Are Calabrio products being discontinued? No product sunsets have been announced.
  • Do Calabrio customers need to migrate? No forced migrations: existing customers keep their platforms, accounts, contracts and support contacts.
  • Where is the website? calabrio.com now redirects to Verint's workforce engagement pages.

Who owns Calabrio: Verint, which Thoma Bravo, a software investment firm, took private in November 2025. Calabrio was already a Thoma Bravo portfolio company, and Thoma Bravo combined the two (Verint).

What Calabrio ONE includes

Calabrio ONE is a suite of workforce engagement and contact center intelligence tools. From Verint's own pages, checked November 2, 2026:

  • Calabrio Workforce Management. Statistical and machine-learning forecasting, automated multi-skill scheduling, intraday re-optimization, real-time adherence and agent self-service through the MyTime app. Verint sells it to inbound contact centers that have outgrown manual forecasting and scheduling, and says most implementations take a few weeks (Calabrio WFM).
  • Calabrio QM Intelligence. Auto QA that scores up to 100% of interactions across voice and digital channels: with standardized forms in as little as 20 minutes, or with customizable generative-AI evaluations, and a prebuilt library of evaluation questions. Verint's FAQ says customers see 95% to 99% accuracy in AI-generated scoring on average (QM Intelligence).
  • Calabrio Conversation Intelligence. Topics, sentiment and call drivers across voice and digital interactions, with Auto QM (Calabrio ONE). Verint Genie Bot answers questions about the interaction data in plain language.
  • Verint bots for Calabrio customers. TimeFlex Bot for flexible scheduling inside Calabrio WFM, Genie Bot, Copilot Bots for in-call knowledge, coaching and wrap-up, and Verint's virtual assistant (Verint + Calabrio).
  • Call recording of 100% of contact center calls (Calabrio ONE).
  • Where it runs. Calabrio WFM integrates with Amazon Connect, Cisco Webex Contact Center, Five9, Talkdesk, RingCentral RingCX and 8x8 Contact Center among others; for a platform not listed, Calabrio's professional services team explores the options (Calabrio WFM).
  • Bought separately. Calabrio WFM carries performance scorecards and dashboards; Verint's FAQ says quality management and advanced analytics are available as additional solutions.
  • Pricing. Verint publishes no price list, and verint.com has no pricing page. Calabrio ONE's AWS Marketplace listing, sold by Calabrio, takes requests for private offers, sends orders above 100 seats to its own team, and says professional services and training must be purchased through Calabrio (AWS Marketplace).

Verint's FAQ separates its two schedulers: Calabrio WFM for organizations moving from manual processes to automated workforce management, and Verint WFM for enterprises with deeper structural, governance and regional labor-law needs (Calabrio WFM). For Verint's own suite and its alternatives, see Verint competitors.

Teams compare Calabrio with AI layers that analyze and score every conversation on the phone system they run, and with the workforce engagement inside contact center suites and other schedulers.

Keep your scheduling, put AI on every conversation

These work on top of the phone system or contact center you run. It keeps routing and recording calls, forecasting and scheduling can stay in Calabrio WFM, and the AI layer listens to every conversation, scores it and reports on it.

Ender Turing

Ender Turing is AI for every customer conversation. It listens to every call, chat and email and scores each one on your own scorecard, so reviewers spend their time on the conversations that need a person: critical calls, disputes, calibration and coaching. AutoQA scores 100% of conversations, typically in 95%+ agreement with your own reviewers. The accuracy is shown for every scorecard point, and the accuracy-improvement workflow rewrites point definitions from their reviews (how accuracy is measured).

Across 50+ contact-center deployments, the averages are 100% of calls automatically scored versus a 3–5% manual baseline, +19% customer satisfaction, −15% average handle time, and 68 QA hours saved per specialist per month (case studies). Ender Turing is rated 4.8 out of 5 on G2.

What the AI does on every conversation:

  • Analyzes every call, chat and email in seconds, in any language your customers speak, with speech recognition built in-house by its R&D team (speech analytics software).
  • Checks the required lines, such as disclosures, consent and identification, with a script-adherence score on every call (compliance rules).
  • Answers questions about your conversations in plain language (Chat with EnderGPT).
  • Coaches each agent with a weekly EnderGPT coaching note written from that agent's own conversations (agent management).

How it connects to your phone system: the Genesys app signs in with your own Genesys OAuth client and ingests the divisions and queues you choose; the Five9 connector exports recordings and metadata over SFTP; the browser extension records calls in stereo in the browser workspaces of NICE CXone, Talkdesk, Amazon Connect, Webex Contact Center, RingCentral, 8x8, Dialpad and Aircall, with nothing installed inside them; and recordings from any other system arrive through the API, SFTP or upload (integrations).

Scoring starts from the first calls: managed scorecards and the templates for your case are installed on sign-up, and Business and Enterprise add dedicated implementation engineers for connectors, your own scorecards and the rollout. On the Team and Business plans, AutoQA scores every conversation at any volume within the seat price, with no per-evaluation charge. Support and customer success come directly from Ender Turing's own team and are included in the subscription.

Live guidance during the call comes from Ender Assist, a separate product in early access at $0.49 per assisted call. A Chrome extension shows recommendations in a side panel while the call runs in the agent's browser-based telephony page; flows, prompts and the details to capture are set in a management web app, and flows can be generated from your script document (agent assist).

Ender Turing is SOC 2 Type II audited; the latest report is available under NDA. It is HIPAA compliant, with a Business Associate Agreement signed on the Enterprise plan, and on Enterprise it runs in your private cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) or fully on-premise (data security). The free plan covers up to 5 agents with no expiry, and Team is $39 per agent a month (pricing).

We make Ender Turing; the facts in this section come from our own pages, our Help Center and G2.

Aspect Quality gives scorecards and evaluation tools for voice and screen recordings (Aspect Quality). It runs in the cloud, hybrid or on-premises. Its own Calabrio comparison says it commonly targets deployments of about 90 days and supports union-aware scheduling and back-office forecasting; it publishes no price list (Aspect vs Calabrio).

Workforce Management starts at $25 a month and is priced per agent plus a platform fee; AI Copilot starts at $35 per agent a month, and AI Agents at $0.65 per conversation (Assembled pricing). It integrates with Amazon Connect, Five9, Genesys Cloud, NICE, Talkdesk, Zendesk and Salesforce Service Cloud, and quality management comes through its integrations with evaluagent, Klaus, Rippit and Observe.AI (Assembled integrations). Its pricing FAQ says many customers go live within a month.

Choose it when: a support team runs chat, email and voice with AI agents next to people and wants to staff both from one plan.

How to choose

  • QA and analytics on the phone system you run: compare whether each tool scores every conversation, shows its accuracy against your reviewers, connects to your platform without replacing it and starts scoring without a services project.
  • Forecasting and scheduling: Calabrio WFM, Aspect or Assembled, or the workforce management inside NICE CXone and Genesys Cloud CX.
  • Everything on one contract: Calabrio ONE, or NICE CXone and Genesys Cloud CX, which add the contact center itself.
  • Live guidance during the call: Observe.AI or Level AI on one platform with QA; Copilot in NICE CXone and Genesys Cloud CX; Ender Assist in early access.
  • A small team: Ender Turing's free plan covers up to 5 agents, with no expiry.

Switching from Calabrio to Ender Turing

  • What stays: your phone system keeps routing and recording calls, forecasting and scheduling can stay in Calabrio WFM, and your scorecard stays yours. Ender Turing connects through its Genesys app, the Five9 connector or the browser extension in NICE CXone, Talkdesk, Amazon Connect, RingCentral, Dialpad, Aircall and other web workspaces, or takes recordings through the API, SFTP or upload.
  • What changes: quality and conversation analytics move to Ender Turing. Every call, chat and email is analyzed and scored on your scorecard from the first calls, with the accuracy against your reviewers shown for every point; required lines are checked on every call; EnderGPT answers questions across all your conversations, in any language.
  • What it costs against Calabrio: Verint publishes no price for Calabrio ONE. Its AWS Marketplace listing, sold by Calabrio, takes requests for private offers and says professional services and training are bought through Calabrio, and Calabrio WFM's own FAQ puts quality management and advanced analytics in additional solutions. Ender Turing's Team plan, with speech analytics and AutoQA on every conversation at any volume, is $39 per agent a month with no per-evaluation charge, and the free plan covers up to 5 agents.
  • How to switch without risk: score the same calls in Ender Turing while Calabrio QM runs, compare its scores with your reviewers point by point, and move when the numbers agree.
